About

Interlibary Loan (ILL) services allows students, faculty, and staff to obtain items from other libraries at no cost. ILL is intended to augment JBU Library holdings. Patrons should thoroughly exhaust JBU Library resources before requesting an item through ILL. General patrons may also use the ILL service for a small fee.

Items requested through ILL take some time before delivery. Articles are delivered electronically and typically take 2-3 days, but may take 1-2 weeks. Books typically arrive at the library within 1-2 weeks but can take as long as 3-4 weeks. Patrons should plan requests accordingly. Book loan durations are set by the lending library and can be from 4-16 weeks.

The following video gives a brief overview of interlibrary loan and how to use ILLiad to make new requests and view received articles.
