NEW: Book Holds

Use the Place hold link in the library catalog to request books to be collected and held for you at the circulation desk. If the book is checked in, it will be retrieved from the shelf within one day; If the book is checked out, you will be notified when the book is returned. Holds expire and will be returned to the shelf after one week.

To place a hold, login to the library catalog, search for the item you require, and use the Place hold link.

Holds are not available on Reserve or Reference materials.

This is a pilot service for fall 2025 when most of the library's materials will be in closed stacks during the LRC renovation. We encourage faculty to make use of the hold system so that we can train our student workers and work out the kinks in the system. Thank you for your help!
