ARKLink Card & Reciprocal Borrowing

JBU students and employees are eligible to borrow books in person from libraries across the state of Arkansas and throughout the country through reciprocal borrowing programs sponsored by ARKLink and the Association of Christian Librarians. The links below give details about each program and a list of participating institutions.

To request reciprocal borrowing privileges, please send an email with the subject line "ARKLink Card Request" to Library@jbu.edu from your JBU email address. Provide the following information to expedite your request:

  • Your name
  • JBU affiliation (faculty, staff, on campus student, or online student)
  • JBU ID number (can be found on your ID card or your Eaglenet profile)
  • Expected graduation date (if you are a student)
  • Your mailing address (if you need the documents sent to you)

All requests will be issued both an ARKLink card and an ACL authorization form to use at any participating library. Your documents will take about a week to arrive by mail, or you can ask for them to be held for you to pick up at the circulation desk. Reciprocal borrowing cards are good for one semester at a time and can be renewed upon request.
