Reading and Downloading Ebooks

Read Online

To read EBSCO ebooks online, first search for the book. Click the Access button to load the ebook full text in your internet browser. Alternatively,  you can click on the title of the book and use the links in the Table of Contents to navigate to the desired chapter.

Download Book

To download the full book to your device, click on the book title or the View details link to access the detailed record, then select the Download button. You will be prompted to create or login to a MyEBSCO account and to install Adobe Digital Editions if you have not already done so. You can find more information about EBSCO ebook digital checkouts here.

Full book downloads expire after 7-21 days. In most cases you can re-download the book as many times as you like. For rare books with a limit on simultaneous users, you may have to wait your turn to re-download the book. Please be aware that Adobe software does NOT preserve your annotations from one checkout to the next.

Download Chapter

To download individual chapters as DRM-free PDF files, use the download chapter icon next to the chapter of your choice in the Table of Contents.

Most books have a limit on the number of pages that can be downloaded as PDF. This limit resets daily.

For a more detailed explanation of this process, see How to download a chapter of an EBSCO eBook as a PDF.
